The Original Cheer & Dance Academy in Gloucester

Gloucestershire Cheer and Dance Academy was formed officially in 2007 after running cheerleading classes since 2004 all across Gloucestershire. 

Our founder, Claire, returned from university having fallen in love with the sport. From here, the academy exploded, creating teams for every age group from tiny (under 7) to Mini (under 9) Junior (ages 9 - 14) and senior (12 and above). 

GCA have won many regional and National titles and has competed across the globe.  

GCA is a Community Interest Company and are passionate about investing in our local community. We are proud of our county and we support young people from all ages and backgrounds.  

Our coaching staff between them have over 65 years of knowledge in the sport, we are teachers, care workers and nursery leaders; our culture is that of nurturing children and young people to be the best versions of themselves.
