GCA’s Tewkesbury location is designed for families looking for a low-pressure, skill-building introduction Our sessions take place in the spacious and well-maintained main hall at Tewkesbury School, offering a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for cheer training. Free on-site parking is available for parents, and the location is just a short drive from Tewkesbury town centre, Morrisons, and Tewkesbury Abbey.

Cheerleading Classes in Tewkesbury
We currently offer the following cheerleading programmes at our Tewkesbury location:
Beginner Cheer (Ages 5–11)
A fun and friendly introduction to cheerleading, perfect for children who are new to the sport. These classes focus on basic stunts, tumbling, jumps, and choreography, all delivered in a low-pressure environment that builds confidence, coordination, and teamwork.

Competitive Cheer (Ages 6–18)
For children ready to take their cheer skills to the next level, our competitive programme includes regular training and the opportunity to perform at regional and national events. Entry is based on coach assessment, and most students begin in the beginner programme before progressing to a team.

What age can my child start cheerleading in Tewkesbury?
Children can join from age 5 in our beginner programme. Competitive cheer is available from age 6+ following a coach assessment.
Do we need any prior experience?
Not at all. Beginner classes are open to complete newcomers. Competitive teams require some experience, but we’ll guide your child through the process.
Is there a trial class available?
Yes! We offer a free trial so your child can try cheerleading and meet the team before committing.
